Privacy Policy
Not yet published. The trading entity and ABN below are placeholders and must be completed before this storefront takes orders.
[REGISTERED ENTITY NAME] (ABN [ABN]) operates instantswms.com.au. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- When you buy: your email address, your name if you provide one, the document and state you selected, and the amount paid.
- When you contact us: your name, email address, and whatever you put in the message.
- Automatically: the page you arrived on, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed. This tells us which channels bring customers.
What we never see
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers and we cannot see it. Stripe handles that data under its own privacy terms.
Why we hold it
To deliver the document you bought, to re-issue a download link if it expires, to answer your enquiry, to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations, and to understand which marketing works. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who else processes it
We use third-party providers to run the service: Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Supabase for data storage, and Vercel for hosting. Each processes data only to provide those services to us. Some may store or process data outside Australia.
Marketing email
If we send you commercial email, every message identifies us and carries a working unsubscribe. We act on unsubscribe requests within five business days, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires. Transactional messages about a purchase you made are not marketing and will still be sent.
Access, correction and complaints
Email info@instantswms.com.au to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Same address for a privacy complaint — we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
